About

I'm a Gen X-er. I hold degrees from CSU Northridge and UC Berkeley, where I earned a concurrent MJ/MA in Journalism and Latin American Studies. In the late 1990s, I was a staff writer for New Times Los Angeles. I also contributed stories to Hispanic Magazine. I published my first novel, God's Flesh, in 2024. It's historical fiction about a brash American Indian who travels to the Aztec Empire to acquire an herb that will save his people from a mysterious illness, but he arrives on the same day as the Spanish conquistadors. It's available on Amazon. I'm currently working on several projects, including a story about a kid with schizophrenia who searches for fantasy theme park after the townspeople mysteriously vanish and stumbles on a secret facility where a government scientist has opened a time portal.
